Online Therapy for Anxiety

Serving Gen Z and Women in Seattle and across Washington

Things can get better…

You’re struggling with anxiety and you're feeling stuck, powerless, and hopeless.

In therapy, we will work to understand your particular body language and when anxiety tends to appear.

We can find ways to partner with anxiety so it doesn’t overwhelm you, but you can understand what it’s trying to communicate.

Through learning, understanding, and helpful tools, I am hopeful that you can get to a place of shifting out of anxiety into supporting yourself, have tangible coping strategies (things you can do) so you can take care of yourself wherever and whenever needed, and feel comfortable in communicating with others.

Anxiety can feel like:

  • Panicking so much that it feels hard to breathe

  • Feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders

  • Cycles of making and canceling plans due to worry

  • Being stuck in a pattern or people pleasing

  • Personal and professional commitments have become overwhelming

  • Wanting to isolate or be the loudest person in the room because it’s hard to fit in

  • Replaying the same experience over and over in your head

  • Trying to make everyone happy around us, without meeting our own needs

  • Having a hard time getting out of bed because the worry is too much

Lets come together

There is a way to get through this.

Anxiety doesn’t have to feel unmanageable at school, work, or any other place. It also doesn’t have to get in the way of relationships, your ability to show up for family and friends, or impact your social life.

Anxiety is a human instinct that often comes up when we need protection, safety,  or there is an unmet need. An unmet need could be feeling stuck, having too many responsibilities, unable to speak your mind, or feeling so involved in a situation it feels hard to navigate it.

It’s different for everyone and that’s totally okay.

Through anxiety therapy, you can…

Understand your triggers so that you can support yourself before, during, and after an anxiety provoking event.

This can help you feel ready to face the day.

Feel connected to your body and confident in who you are.

There are many techniques that can help us humans feel grounded in who we are.

Feel like your personal and professional commitments are in balance and you can confidently handle them.

We can also look at ways you can set boundaries or have difficult conversations with those in your life.

Common questions about Anxiety therapy

  • Sessions are organized around your personality. Some clients like more structure and others prefer flexibility.

For clients who are more structured, we decide on a session format together. Some clients come in and know exactly what they want to talk about, they have specific goals in mind, and a layout that feels safe to them. In cases like this, sessions are more organized and can include homework if that feels right.

For clients who like flexibility and want to process what is top of mind, sessions are kept open so that there is room for whatever feels most pressing.

There is also room for a mixture of both. If you have something in mind that you want to focus on, wonderful. If you want a more open session, great!

  • Weekly, every other week, and monthly sessions are available.

Please note that monthly sessions are for clients who have been in therapy long term.

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.

80 minute sessions are available upon request.

  • Head over to our contact page to schedule a free 20 minute consultation. This is a time where we get to meet, have your questions answered, and see if therapy here would be a good fit.
